Jeremiah 6:5-7

⁵ “Arise, and let us ^[a]attack by night
And ^(A)destroy her ^[b]palaces!”

“^(B)Cut down her trees
And cast up a ^(C)siege against Jerusalem.
This is the city to be punished,
In whose midst there is only ^(D)oppression.
⁷ “^(E)As a well ^[c]keeps its waters fresh,
So she ^[d]keeps fresh her wickedness.
^(F)Violence and destruction are heard in her;
^(G)Sickness and wounds are ever before Me.
